Eritrea and diaspora Tax.

So Eritreans living in abroad are required to pay special taxes to the government in Asmara, and if you refuse, then they bann you from entering the country.

I know one guy who had to pay the tax in order to visit his family.

 

You know what I don't object to this because there is little corruption over there and the money is used for the nation. Although its for the armed forces for the most part at least its used in a proper manner. Unlike the Somalians. I would not trust paying any tax to any Somali authority.

 

But Eritrea is a hellhole... a well managed hellhole
