Saalax Posted March 7, 2015 No wonder it looks like Jigjiga terminal kkkk. Good on the construction company, Berbera got a nice terminal. http://www.somalilandpress.com/ethiopias-tacon-completes-somalilands-berbera-airport-terminal-and-fence-for-4-million/
Che -Guevara Posted March 7, 2015 Good development. Was there a competitive bidding? Chinese companies are better experienced and more efficient. They are building the airports in Djibouti and Bosaso, and not to mention many infrastructure projects in Ethiopia itself. Projects like this one might have enticed the Chinese to invest more in Somali lands.
Saalax Posted March 8, 2015 There is not much competition when it comes to construction companies in this current admin, they are hand picked. The Chinese do have good construction companies but obviously they will charge more expensive than the Ethiopian companies which have cheaper Ethiopian laborers. Che -Guevara Posted March 8, 2015 What about cheap Somali laborers? Mase our poverty stricken people are too proud? Who paid the money, Somaliland Government?
Saalax Posted March 8, 2015 I don't think skinny Somali laborers exist it is rare kkkk but the Bantu Somali community do have plenty and work very good. Kuwait paid it.
Holac Posted March 8, 2015 I have seen the pictures of the new terminal. I think the $4 million could have built a better looking small terminal. Having said that, this is a great project and is miles ahead of the other cities.
