Che isn't your cherished "wholesome, traditional lifestyle" what got Somalis deep into to the sh!t they are in? I think a bit of radical liberalism is what is probably needed to remedy our social illness.

Who needs the prayers of a bunch of ignorant bigoted men with twisted view of the world anyway? I would choose the heart felt and sincere prayer of a group of pious LGBT Muslims in my funeral over the one offered by shaddy "imams" any day.

Sarcasm mate but on serious note, our empathy for the deceased is humanistic, an understandable tendency.

 

But I think DK can make a good argument (that's he drops the rumor talk) from religious perspective. We might not like what he says but religion would side with him.

 

As for the deceased, judgement day awaits 'her' and our day will indeed come as well.

Religion would side with him on what? Denouncing transgender individuals? Nope -- there is no one religious perspective on this, and sex reassignment surgery is considered permissible by MANY Islamic scholars (ie. Iran, Al-Azhar, etc). What "good argument" has DK made in this thread?
