DoctorKenney Posted January 22, 2015 King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia just passed away at hospital at the age of 90! http://edition.cnn.com/2015/01/22/middleeast/saudi-arabia-king-abdullah-dies/index.html However much I disagree with that man on many things, including some of his policies...I think he was a much much better leader than the previous leaders of Saudi Arabia King Khalid or King Fahd. May Allah have mercy on his soul.

Libaax-Sankataabte Posted January 22, 2015 Allaha u naxariisto. The new king is said to be more conservative by Saudi standards. It would be interesting to know the impact this changing of the guard will have on middle east politics and financial markets since Saudi policy heavily influences both, specially the crude markets. Peace Action Posted January 23, 2015 Allah u naxariisto. Sadly he accumulated a wealth of 20 billion most of it looted from the treasury of the country. He did not use most of it and yet he will be accountable in front of Allah.
