This stuff goes for 35 dollars for a 15 milliliter bottle! Most Somalis have no idea how valuable this stuff is, and this frankincense is used in most Catholic churches, including the Vatican City! I remember buying this bottle from some shop and I was shocked at the price.

 

Apparently the only PURE frankincense you can get are the ones in Somalia. No where else. The ones grown in Oman are not nearly as high-quality. And they can only grow in Somalia and nowhere else. I expect Somali frankincense to become far more expensive in the upcoming years.

Its not 'uunsi'. Uunsi is that artificial and concocted thing, mostly made from colognes. This is called foox or luubaan.
