Sense has always been in short supply in that part of Somalia, but it is always good to see a Somalilander who has finally woken up from the self- induced delirium of international recognition.

 

I just hope whoever becomes the new president in the forthcoming elections will have the necessary mettle needed to reprogram the brainwashed masses!

 

The Federal government should also play its part and help the Habros back into the Somali family.

Have little advise to those consumed by this unity nonsense who live in this tight container whereby nothing comes in except holding on to tired and obsolete ideas of the 60s for clannish reasons....not nationalistic...no one could be cheated at this day, that should go thru your hard skull, and if you care to have some re awakening please come to Somaliland,go to mafrishis,talk to women and then make realistic assessment if you choose to do so....Know that's hard,going against what's wishful and ingrained.

 

Landers and indeed otha Somalis harshly criticize their own unlike puntlanders who are foreva liberation front in suits where by everyone dictated to like Koran what to say or not...keep everything bad under the rug.

 

If we truthful to each otha there only one option available as far as unity is concerned and that's war where by Mogadishu hoping it can coerce 3rd parties(foreigners) to help thm subjugate Somaliland,,and that's a very unlikely scenario as it become a wider conflict where foreigners on both sides of the theatre and where surely Mogadishu get defeated and won't get sympathy again from rest of world as it used on unnecessary conflict the meager resources and hand outs it received from int'l community.Back to the turmoil.

and why so focused on union...we know from experience that who eva come to power keeps filling his pockets and those around him,mainly his clan.Is Puntland or otha regions receive their share from central gov't,,,thus the continuing quarrel between Garowe and Mogadishu, or is Puntland really a cohesive part of Somalia in light of the agreement reached this week that gave puntland more than the powers needed for regional gov't and central states(qaybdiid) rejected outright and declared they no longer part of the union and that it's now clan fiefdoms.

 

Come on be real...Wiser puntland avoid a war on two fronts instead of clinging to past nostalgia which was the root causes of the civil war in the first place and instead of trying so hard to hurt & dismember Somaliland, as this saying goes" don't dig a hole for others,and don't make it deeper if you dig one as you might yourself fall."
