In Somali territory, there’s no functional government to make or enforce regulation.The current government cannot even control its own capital or even its presidential place let alone whole Somali territory.Vast areas of the country have been occupied by brainless Fuufu and Somalia’s historical enemies, Ethiopia and Kenya. Kenya and Ethiopia can be expected to pursue what they consider to be their own national interests, bringing large parts of Somalia under their direct or indirect control (as they just claim Somalia territorial water), while fulfilling their obligations to the western societies. Some Other parts are controlled by a group of criminals all-shaaydiin again created by our enemies. Let's be realistic If the International actors want help Somali people why don,t they start to rebuild Somalia's armed forces that can take control of security in the country ? The focus should be on creating a national Somali army because a strong military is the only way that Somalia can actually gain control of it's territory and it's affairs. It can stop enemies from coming in. It can defeat extremists. It can gain control of it's territorial sea from the pirates and illegal fishers. We all know that AMISOM, UN or neighboring countries wont protect our territory.The U.S, Turkey and Egypt have all stated that in their different capacities, they will train, arm and fund a "new" Somali Military, where are those?

 

The white men have already built fancy houses on our capital beaches , port and air port and the so called our leaders gave them these territorial land and again, there was no approval from Parliament. Ismahaan, that photograph of Kenya and Ethiopia dividing up Somalia is outdated, and drawn during a time when Somalia was in severe turmoil. This map was drawn around the time of the 2011 famine, but facts on the ground have changed considerably since then.

 

Puntland and Somaliland already have functioning States, so what would be the legal justification for the Ethiopians to annex it? South Somalia is already getting back on it's feet, there is reconciliation going on right now in the South between different clans in Bay province, in Hiiraan, in Jubbaland, and other places. And the Somali Army is expanding it's reach.

Doctorkenney@ The states cannot do nothing as long we have federal government that protect our territorial water and land. Look at it now the Somali sea is sold by the Kenyans two times by the so called Somali leaders,..this time we don't know what is going to happen. What can state government do in this stage? By the way Dr Culusow is talking about right now and what may happen in 2016. The reality is all those places you have mentioned except somaliland and Puntland is controlled by foreign troops. Even Somaliland and Puntland there are Somali troops that are trained and supported by US and trust me they are not even part of the Puntland or somaliland arm.
