Holac Posted August 19, 2014 Riyadh: Saudi Arabia's Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz Al al-Sheikh Tuesday termed extremist militant groups as "the first enemy of Islam" and stressed that the ideas of extremism and terrorism do not belong to Islam at all. Referring to the Islamic State Sunni extremist group and Al Qaeda-affiliated groups in a statement titled "Foresight and Remembrance", the Grand Mufti said more dangerous ideas are those ideas that are being marketed in the name of religion, the official Saudi Press Agency reported. "These foreign groups do not belong to Islam and Muslims adhering to it, but they are an extension of the Kharijites who were the first group that deviated from the religion because they accused Muslims of disbelief due to their sins and allowed killing them and taking their money," Al al-Sheikh said. The Grand Mufti, who is also general president for Scientific Researches and Fatwa, noted that the tolerance of Islam is one of the characteristics of Islamic Sharia and the largest one of its objectives. "We call in this regard to unify and coordinate educational and developmental efforts to enhance the thought of moderation stemming from our true Islamic Sharia through formulating a complete plan with clear objectives and an executive plan that achieves those goals as a concrete reality," the top cleric added. The highly influential Grand Mufti's comments come in the wake of Saudi Arabian crackdown on supporters of foreign terrorist organisations such as Syria's Al Nusra and Al Qaeda and its affiliated groups, in the country. We all know about how hypocritical and cowardly the Saudi Regime is. The west did not interver in the Syrian civil war because the Syrian government resisted such a move whereas the government of Iraq invited the west to help in its fight against the barbaric terrorists. I love life and I am thankful for life. But let's wake up. The west created this entire mess. That's the point I'm making. European powers because of their fear of the ottoman chaliphate. The defeat of the crusaders. Islams superiority politically, theologically and socially. They set in motion the destruction of the chaliphate. They divided the nations of the Middle East they created Israel, supplied it with weapons and keep it in existence today. They support dictators across the entire muslim world. Everywhere islam raises its head politically as in the case of the muslim brotherhood they act to suppress it. They invaded Iraq for oil, they invaded Afghanistan for heroin. I don't agree with many things the Islamic state does. But in comparison the western world has killed more Muslims since 1923 (the collapes of the chaliphate) then alqaeda, and ever Terorist organisation on this earth put together. The Islamic state and other organisations have a powerful narative and that narrative is a narative written in history of the hatred for islam the west has. The way they treat religious minorities such as Yazidis and Christians is appalling, and if you were to resurrect Umar bin Khattab or any of the righteous early Muslims, they would categorically rebuke ISIS! And you know it's true. You need to hold yourself to a different standard. ISIS is rotten to the core, and they have no legitimacy at all. History shows us that The West was opposed to Assad's regime and they initially supported the Free Syrian Army because they were afraid of Iranian and Russian influence extending into Syria and bordering the Mediterranean as well as Israel. The West is trying their best to contain Iran and isolate them. They wanted to neutralize Iranian power and maintain a balance of power between the Shia's and the Sunnis. It's all political saaxib.
