The strategy to protect baghdad and Erbil is militarily flawed. Every person can see its not practical.

 

If the islamic state continue to charge into Erbil their convoys are us made weapons the same if not similar as the Kurdish PKK communists. Therefore how can they distinguish between friend and foe.? Impossible.

 

What would the US do if they came inside.... These two cities....bomb the cities...??

Kurds are a good a people. They have been victims of saddam Hussein the secular atheist. They have been victims of discrimination by pan Arabist secularist Baathist. The Kurds are not the enemy. The PKK are different.

 

Remember talabo the Islamic state did not attack Kurdistan. It was the PKK that attacked IS positions near Mosul. So if attacked do you not have the right to defend yourselfs. All the war journals are saying this is a defensive battle not a offensive war. The IS wants to limit PKK capability by making them focus on Erbil and thus shrinking their ability to make future strikes.

 

This morning was reading some war journal articles and twitter regarding the situation the IS is not interested in taking Erbil.

 

The Islamic state did not attack Kurds. The Islamic state has no ethnocentric objectives from what I have read. The Islamic state has Kurdish regiments amongst it.

 

The PKK attacked and then once they were attacked they were pushed back and then out and then they started crying...

 

When you have a pro Zionist, communist secularists at your door and they attack you and house CIA bases.... What do you do?

 

You divide their positions take most of the land and let them fight a defensive war In Erbil to tame them and neutralize te threat.

 

This effectively makes the US drone strikes around Erbil a waste of time. The IS objective has already been met.

The real question is why the double standard. Why is the United States willing to assist some people and yet ignore the suffering of millions of people?
