Che -Guevara Posted July 28, 2014 These demos are useless, instead the Somali electorate in Minneapolis should pressure their representatives in DC to seek answer from the Somali President. Saado was American citizen after all. Bombard Senators Franklin and Klobuchar with calls and emails. Have them reach out to the State Department. DoctorKenney Posted July 28, 2014 Force Qoslaaye out by any means necessary!! He was only in power for 22 months. That's not even 2 years. And look at how much damage he's done to the country already. We can't handle 2 extra years of this criminal staying in power. If this means we have an interim President for a mere 2 years, so be it. But Somalia is too fragile a state to have a criminal like Qoslaye holding the reins of power.

Adam Posted July 29, 2014 So is it only Jaylida Buntalanda who is going to demonstration against Xassan sheikh or all Sahal? Qalbiga dadi qaabil ka gashy, :-) somaga Mooge Eagleeow.
DoctorKenney Posted July 29, 2014 ^^Adam you know very well this is NOT about tribalism. I never saw Reer Puntland oppose Sheikh Shariif in the same manner which they oppose Hassan Sheikh And the opposition to him is pretty universal amongst Somalis, even amongst his own clan. So why are you making this into a qabiil issue? I don't even think its up for a debate, that Hassan Sheikh is a disaster for Somalia and has not benefited our country
Mooge Posted July 29, 2014 Adam niyoow the biggest group to demonstrate are your people from somaliland. they are prtesting against the massacre in Shabela hoose. puntland new ammassador to the US tried to convince Puntlanders to suspend their demo and not embarrass him but people rejected his idea. the demo is going ahead. qoslaye may cancel his trip niyoow. the guy doesn't like criticism. but the demo will still go ehead. friends who left nairobi are the organizers and i am in constant contact with them to bring big numbers. trucks, cars and school buses will be used to bring people to the hotel qoslaye is sleeping. Tillamook Posted July 30, 2014 @HawdMan said: So is it only Jaylida Buntalanda who is going to demonstration against Xassan sheikh or all Sahal? Qalbiga dadi qaabil ka gashy, :-) somaga Mooge Eagleeow. Damn right!! It's the Puntland and Jubaland diaspora communities in the United States that has the most grievances against this vile, incompetent and hateful President. So they have every right to express their feelings through public demonstration, and due to their large presence in the US, the D bloc carry weight in Washington, which is why he has asked the newly appointed Somali ambassador to Washington to travel to the twin cities to help simmer down things. And in this same spirit he has asked the prime minister in Mogadishu to announce that he will travel to Puntland soon, just to appease the prospective demonstrators. Personally, all these attempts at appeasement are futile. A good majority of the Somali community in the twin cities plan on demonstrating against him which will shed some light on his numerous failures as president in front of the spotlight of the international community that will be in attendance for the US-Africa summit in Washington.
