SOMALIA: President Mohamud makes remark on Tuesday’s Al Shabab assault on Villa Somalia

IMG_65671RBC Mogadishu. Somali president Hassan Shiekh Mohamud has made a remark tonight from Villa Somalia in a press briefing on tonight’s Al Shabab attack on the presidential palace.

 

The president who was out of the Presidential Palace of Somalia at the time of the attack stated that the security of the Palace is firm and will cannot be shaken by Al shabab.

 

Addressing the press in Villa Somalia, President Mohamud Said, “I want to convey a brief message to the people of Somalia as response to the terrorist’s incitement to create a sense of insecurity, there is no insecurity in the presidential Palace of Somalia, and the work of the president for his people cannot be blocked by the defeated influx of Al Shabab”,

 

His excellence, Mohamud urged Somali parents to prevent their children from extremism and asked also to withdraw their children from Shabab.

 

The president highlighted that security agencies will remain firm and alert adding that the security institutions will foil any further attack at planning.
