you Wake up one morning to the sound of a Caliphate announced by ISIL, watch the declaration video through youtube, familiarize yourself with the so-called your caliphs again through youtube (the enemy's media!). A caliphate marketed by different brands of executions, mass shootings and amateur militia courts. On the other hand 28 different nations with different religious doctrines, languages and peoples, not long ago were all involved in massive wars, decided to gradually intertwine to an amalgam of economic unity yielding the largest free market in the world, virtually freedom of movement , enact legislation in justice and home affairs and maintain common policies on agriculture, manufacturing and security. This Amalgam is known as the EU.

 

The EU Caliphate! is what you get when carefully planned visions and missions are executed. Not the whims of a youtube caliphate with no understanding of the real geo-political situation and worst of all, Ironically a caliphate determined to spread by a spoils of war "Ghaniima" machinery from the west against another gift war machinery also from the West.. American Humvee against American Humvee.... A youtube caliphate with no understanding of what Caliphate is, a caliphate with surreal sentiments that we observe in patients during rounds in psychiatric hospitals claiming to be the awaited "Al-Mahdi", that patient is not to blamed as everyone knows and sympathizes with the health difficulty they are going through...but for the youtube caliphate, Chants of support and oaths of allegiance appearing through my facebook feed every now and then , not from the ton of Arabic friends I have but from my kin and blood the Somalis.... Most of whom feverishly take every opportunity to debase Al-shabaab. Are they missing the point that if Al-shabab are bad, ISIL are worst not worse, If Al-shabab are cancer (waa sida ay yidhaahdeene!) ISIL are metastatic cancer that spread all over the body.....

 

 

Things will be better for ISlam. that statement will be true when we are united, when we understand that through knowledge we can overcome, not through the AK-47 that we don't even make, Through deep understanding of Islam and finally by having no underlying agendas such as sectarian,tribal,geographical or ethnic inclinations adulterating our noble cause in making this planet or universe a better place for EVERYBODY (لا إكراه في الدين), a place where the almighty is worshiped ,,,thus the concept of عمارة الأرض ورعاية الكون.....

 

Good example to look at will be our own history, to glance at our own Islamic Caliphate that spanned a millennium. the peak of enlightenment for the whole wide world while Europe were in what they call the European dark ages. .... when the Islamic world became infested with Arab nationalism the Ottomans leaning towards ethnic dominance, Muslims in the East started having seperate identity, Islam crumbled from inside and it can rise from the inside again...crumbled to the changing hearts away from the Unity of Islam to myopic ethnic and sectarian agendas.....

 

May Allah Guide our brothers ISIL to the right path...May Allah guide us All to the right path...

Good point. I don't believe this so-called Caliphate exists in anywhere else except in jihadi poster flyers and home-made videos. It is ridiculous to say the least. However, the western media is parroting a caliphate scare everywhere you look.

Coofle, please keep educating people about this cancer. As you said the Roman empire was extended from British isle to Syria and mesopotamia. European powers fought one another for one thousand years. In the twentieth century alone over fifty million people have died during first and second world war. Those nations are united today under EU Caliphate as you said. It started with economic liberalization and reducing of trade barriers. Now with common currency and political union is the foundation.

 

In 1945, similar union of the Arab nations have started in the middle east and Africa. for seventy years till the day they formulated up to now, nothing have changed. Rather than condemn Israel from time to time, nothing tangible came out of this union. No trade, cultural, or political union . It is a tribal club, where feudal monarchies, despots, Dictators and corrupt rulers agree to disagree and denounce one another. The Arab league is the most incompetent, corrupt and backward institution ever formed by any group nations.

 

This so called Caliphate is the same Arab dictatorship taking religious character. They will kill every human being that have a different opinion. of course they will kill jews, christians and people who have different culture, but before they reach that state, they have to eliminate every shia or Muslim who do not adhere their twisted murderous way of life. In order to set up despotic rule, they have to kill millions in Iraq and Syria.

 

First they claimed to be fighting a dictator, as a democracy seeking movement, when they couldn't get their way, they said they are fighting a shia monopoly of power by calling the Sunnis to help them. There is no Islam here, other than blood thirsty sects killing one another. We all heard about Al-shabaab saying during the month of Ramadan, they will increase the killing of Somali people.

 

People may not know , but the whole GDP ( gross domestic product ), or the size of their economy of the whole Arab world is not even equal to that of France, a single country.

 

They want to end civilizations, but they will be dead enders who will follow the modern cults that vanished. Before they disappear from the scene, they will cause the suffering of millions of their own people. Just look at Mosul, Iraq's second biggest city, which produced one million refugees in one week.

@Apophis...Are you basing your argument on the fact that Europeans have killed (more than 60 million) and ISIL did not do that...Well Here are many other things the Europeans have done and ISIL did not do and will never do.

 

*Invade other continents and try to wipe the natives (ISIL will implode before going anywhere)

*Come up with great scientific theories and inventions leading to the gadgets you enjoy so much ..well ISIL do not have interest in anything scientific (Contrary to Islamic teachings)

*Freedom of worshiping; Something I heard you are fond of, yet ISIL do not have room for other muslim denominations let alone non-Muslims and worst of all anyone with a drop of atheism...Islam on the other hand always promoted freedom of worship ... Europeans promote religious freedom although I feel its being forced down the throats of many.

The black flag caring despots will not last. There were reports of bulldozing and bombing mosques and religious shrines of the Shia Muslims. These mix of Arab nationalism, Hizbul Ba'ath of Iraq and Wahhabi extremists won't go far.

So how exactly did the ever peacful EU caliphate obtain so much wealth? Didn't they carve up a large part of the world and obtain "Ghanima" and contiue to do so. Refer to recent history - WWI & WWII and the colonization of Africa and India.
