CidanSultan Posted June 19, 2014 Misinformation again malister... No government, western, Japanese or Tamil would trust a sigle chicken with the Somalian government. It's history of curroption, the resignation of officials the clear blatant breach in trust. The eu hasn't even given Somalia the money it promised the last time hahah... And your expecting them to pay you this time..... Cooooome on... Stop day dreaming. All aid is given to third party ngo's who spend it most of it partying in naiborbi and what's left on the poor population. Malister misinformation is not a good thing my hag friend. It might be normal were you come from but in the normal and civilised world there is something called honousty...

DoctorKenney Posted June 22, 2014 I actually think Cidan is correct on some points here. Somalis need to focus on actual nation-building. These cosmetic improvements to Mogadishu doesn't do anything to fix our actual country. Many dysfunctional states have pretty buildings and a couple of roads. But when you have a large percentage of Somalia's population unable to have an appropriate standard of living, something's wrong. When we rely on Christian African mercenaries to protect us in our own country, something is definitely wrong. And instead of this Federal Government being alarmed by this unfortunate predicament and actively trying to build the capability of Somalia's Military, they're complacent and instead they focus on building a couple of pretty buildings and visiting foreign Heads of State in Qatar or Turkey. It's actually embarrassing. These men have no shame I don't see any real effort by anyone attempting to create a real nation out of these numerous tribal groups in Somalia who look alike and share a language and religion. By all accounts, we should be a nation. But we're not a nation in any sense of the term. And I don't know if we will be anytime in the near future
DoctorKenney Posted June 22, 2014 The same goes for Somaliland BTW. Their problems aren't as extreme as Somalia's problems, fine. They may be "stable", but this stability doesn't mean Somalilanders are a real genuine nation (yet) The political and tribal disputes between different sub-clans in Somaliland already proves this. But this might change in the future

Dr_Osman Posted June 23, 2014 Ciidan we have upgraded our soviet gear to newer weapons, we have an active airforce with armed helicopters and war planes. We have F350 mine detector armoured vehicles. All our technicals are all new also. The point I was making was we have the old soviet gear in abudance and also newer weaponry plus extended capabilities in the sky. Stop being a xasid, Puntland is a powerful state and you know it. You will deal with 1000 technicals, 200 of which are bullet proof. Heavy armoured trucks, BMS, Tanks as our ground force supported by a capable airforce with armed helicopters and warplanes which is guided from the command center in QAW with satellite guiding systems. On top of that we got an effective coast guard to invade u thru Berbera, while deploying ground forces into burco and striking hargeisa from the sky with our airforce. You have to admit we got the best armed forces in the Nation? Somaliland only has what we have as far as old soviet gear and technicals and a few BMS but it lacks in all the other aspects like bullet proof technicals, the airforce, the F350 mining vehicles, etc. You are in denial if your denying the power of puntland, your just being argumentative I think
