i only notice a one minor mistake

Richard Corfield was killed in Calmadow and not jidaali. Jiidali is in sanaag and it was Dervish fort.

Corfield was killed in Dhul Madoobe, which is in Togdheer. Otherwise, why shall Hoehne be a 'hired scholar', for whom? One has to distinguish between 'kacaan' and the historical facts. Scholars can try to get at the latter. The interpretation of course varies, but it is easy to brand someone as 'kacaan' or 'sth-diid' and not oneself get into the tedious and hard work of 'reassembling' the past in a conflict-ridden society like Somali society
