Two Is**** Members of Parliament have been slaugthered in Mogadishu in less then 48 hours. Why is HAG doing this?

Its just their names and not their clan but anyway if they are indeed from Somaliland then no one is to blame here but the victims. They knew the risks in Mogadishu and they took it. Alle ha u naxariisto dadkaa dhimanaya oo dhan.

Just because those 2 men are from the Hargeisa clan doesn't mean they don't have the right to live, work, and take public office in Mogadishu. We shouldn't discriminate based on clan or it will lead down to a very dangerous road.

 

Or do Somalilanders believe that their clan is "ethnically" different and thus has no business living and working in Mogadishu?

 

Is a Somali man from the Ceelbuur clan or the Hobyo clan allowed to live and work in Hargeisa? Would he be permitted to take public office? We've all seen stories of Pakistani and Somali men taking public office in BRITAIN, which is the White British Man's land. The Somali has no historical claim to Britain yet you see him taking public office.

 

Some of you posters are sending a very wrong message. A very wrong message indeed.

Doctor only Somaliladners are allowed to obtain citizenship of Somaliland and can hold offices people from Somalia can live and work in Somaliland but cant become citizens.
