Hawdian, what Osman fails to understand is that SNM traitors and HAG nationalists became dominant in the North and South because of Halgankooda. SNM traitors did their own halgan, now almost all of D-subclans in the North is their servants except for some who discovered weakness on the side of snm.

The same with HAG, we did major halgan struggle, thanks to that the strongest and most dominant subclan of D is our waterboy.

Actually we dominate them politically. And they can never do rogaal celin to capture the Capital City. But we allow them to live there and view Xamar as their capital city. On Jubbaland the Mogadishu elites made sure there wont be an autonomous state south of them. Aslong as the money directed to Somaliland is not channeled through Mogadishu Somaliland is fine , Britain and Denmark already gave bilateral aid to SL and the special arrangement is a package from the European union and directly falls into the Somaliland development fund, time is of the essence, the Talks with Somalia is in Somaliland benefit all we need to make sure that the talks don't take ages and they need to be cut in its time frame and the elephant in the room must be brought to the table. Somaliland is busy with many projects the Bollore port deal investment is one of them the Oil exploration program is another Somaliland business elites are even investing in the Grand renaissance dam of Ethiopia

Somaliland does not expect much from Ethiopia and they are not hostile towards Somaliland cause nor are they helpful. Somaliland interest is to make sure that Somaliland the Afro hashimite nation succeeds both economically Military and politically, and its doing pretty good the past few years and allot of progress has been made the new SL strategy works they changed the route to the end goal.

Xaji you give to much credit to the jubba agreement, it is a mere interim arrangement for a maximum period of 2 year, do you honestly think the articles in those agreements can be achieved within 2 years which is the maximum stipulated time period given for the arrangemrnt? hell no and thats exactly what we want to make sure nothing is fulfilled in the agreement since there isn't a timetable stating when each point must be achieved? we will let it drag on untill the 2 year period is reached and tear it up and claim it's mandate has expired and not enforcable. We just wanted recognition out of this and we got it. This was a victory for jubba not mogadishu. Afterall mogadishu can't even be trusted with the central bank, i doubt anyone is going to trust them wuth the lifrline infrastructure of the region.

 

As far as your idea that all hag are united is a pipe dream and even if they were their would still always be hungry for power regardless of unity and would like the political credibility puntland brings if they manage to get our support.

 

As for farole, I have no disagreement that he was the leader puntland needed regardless of his weak security measures on somaliland but he made sure we would be on our way to hamar which is afterall as u put it the capital. Detoore again you are missing an essential point which is the addis ababa agreement was guaranteed by addis ababa and it might lose its viability when the contracts end. But what you fail to realize is that Jubba admin is being pushed by Kenya and Kenya is a Sovereign state all Mogadishu has to do is make sure it empowers its self and its military apparatus in the region, and they can get the funds the support. Mogadishu can still if Jubba admin does not behave it can fully back the six state formula and this will create chaos you will get action reaction and Mogadishu has more political resources from an international point of view, and this will give them the upper hand in the long term even jubb and madoobe tries to terminate the agreement.

 

Detoore SL hasn't launched a bit the international community kept the dual track policy based on Somalia and Somaliland , the special arrangement regarding the aid is our evidence the airspace joint management agreement is also our witness, the process of the Dialogue between the countries is also one, these are all tremendous steps the SL government took, as for the projects the bollore project was a long project its not solely Kulmiye but a long term project even during rayaale ,, Siilaanyo might finalize the agreement. I believe SL has a long way to go but its on the right path , its in a very good position Hassan and the Damuljadid and the SL government have a common understanding on a range of issues they differ on some core issues but with time it will get there, As for Ethiopia , Ethiopia wants to befriend every Somali , the one in Djibouti Somaliland and Puntland ,southern Somalia Jubba admin it wants to be enemy to non, for them they dont want to pick sides , this gives them enormous leverage. Somaliland elites are fine with this aslong as Ethiopia recognizes SL passport and is not hostile towards Somaliland independence bid like some Arab states. But Ethiopia is also not a friend if they wanted SL to be independent the AU seat is in addis ababa they would have convinced states in this dark continent to support SL case, or atleast to be discussed in the AU summits Alpha the former Ghanian chairman did more for SL and raised the SL issue at AU level. But Ethiopia it wishes to exploit us all for its own interest, never trust a bug eyed xabashi, but since SL is pursuing its own interest, SL agenda is far more important than other peoples interest. The stalemate will continue for quiet some time its like there is a big treasure Somaliland has the key , Puntland knows where its buried , Mogadishu has the ships to get us there but we are not willing to help each other.
