Sources say that the Somaliland students had asked the festival management board if they could take part in the festivities using the Somaliland flag and the board nodded with a yes. Upon hearing of the news the Somali ambassador became furious and went straight to the university and asked them to withdraw their endorsement and at the same time asking if they are the body that has recognized Somaliland as a sovereign state. A student source says that despite the fact that Somaliland students outnumbers multiply their Somalia counterparts still oppose the fact that Somaliland is a state of its own. The seven day annual festival function held by Kampala international university ruled out the participation of Somaliland flag due to the instigated pressure from the ambassador who had even notified the Ugandan government. Xaaji Xunjuf Posted March 9, 2014 You are missing the entire point the moral of the story is that Somalia and Somaliland are taking their disputes to African capitals this is not the politicians of the country these are the locals who have been studying there, they took their disputes to Kampala. This is not about winning of raising one flag at an university its deeper much deeper. These cultural festivals have been held in Ukraine Turkey Syria and there were never problems. But it shows that the Koonfurians feel real threatened by Somaliland flag They are scared to death to see the Somaliland flag. But surely Uganda will pick the side of Somalia the country they protect Uganda earns 2500 dollar per soldier in Somalia i would do the same if i was uganda As for Somalia heading any where Somalia is divided more than ever Puntland jubbaland south western state the small SFG cant barely control Mogadishu Shabaab still controlling large swats of the country and more deadly Shabaab were able to infiltrate villa Somalia. Somalia has a Turkish police commander and an Ugandan Army commander and a British Media adviser coordinator The SFG government controls basically no place and since recently the international community is rethinking of giving it the entire aid package that was pledged to her last year. Somalia is under the mercy of Ethiopia Kenya uganda and this will continue for quiet some time.

Xaaji Xunjuf Posted March 9, 2014 Weak SFG is busy with Ukraine and Somaliland cultural festivals in uganda while Amiir Godane carries out homicide attacks in their backyards talk about defeating or winning a battle. its been 23 years since afweyne was ousted and the clowns in Mogadishu are for the first time being taught to operate armored vehicles, its going to take a while my friend. SomaliaRising Posted March 9, 2014 We will see sxb when the Strong State returns. I will myself go back to Somalia to fight the secessionist traitors, servants of Xabashis.
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted March 9, 2014 Why dont you go to Somalia and fight the xabashis now they are all over the place from gedo to Galguduud to bay and bakool what is stopping you now. You have to build a strong state u cant hope for it and than it becomes Nabigu ducada wuxu yidhi ficil ku dara. Koonfurians are waiting for a miracle. No strong state can ever emerge in Somalia aslong as Somalis are deeply divided the 23 years ongoing civil war in Somalia is our witness. And also Alshabaab cannot be defeated by using half of the African continent.
Dalmar1 Posted March 9, 2014 Poor servant creature habaar xunjuf is sweating in panic after feeling the pressure coming from the so called "weak" Amisom guarded SFG!,...Walee you guys are pathetic, just wait when the state gets its feet on the ground, rest assure that when it does, its GAME OVER for your treacherous folks in the triangle state! TOP news: buurdhuubo- Gedo is liberated and under SFG authority!
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted March 9, 2014 Stop lying SFG has not removed shabaab from a single village all credit goes to the African union troops , you can live in a fairy tale but Somalia has no defense apparatus the raid on Villa Somalia is our witness. Somalia is broken and dismantled by Somali factions, if Somaliland is so pathetic why do you wish to unite with them loolz, There would not be an SFG with out the African union troops these are the facts on the ground. Tallaabo Posted March 9, 2014 Xaaji teach these hapless political novices that a mere decade ago even the BBC Somali service and all the other media groups from Koonfuria used to say "maamulka la magac baxay Somaliland" when referring to our country and its government. Behold how things have changed dramatically. I hope these keyboard warriors realise that "time and the Somaliland tide wait for no man".
SomaliaRising Posted March 9, 2014 Many people in the South, Central and North Somalia wants to fight the secessionist traitors from the triangle clan enclave. Triangle Clan Enclave is feeling the heat.
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted March 9, 2014 Somalia rising , so in other words Somalia cant rise with out Somaliland Tallaabo Koonfurians came along way there was a time they only uttered Gobolada woqoyi. Today one misstep their media are banned in SL. Edeb asluub baa loo yeeley. Even their paper government doesn't dare to bad mouth SL even before the 2 countries agreed not to use inflammatory language, That point was actually a major win for SL because Somalilanders never wanted to be associated with the Koonfurians so they wont mention their Somalia. But it stopped the silly way of communicating with the koonfurians. i have to say in the last 14 years the koonfurians are deeply understanding that Somaliland is gone.
