this terrorist snake went to a cafe and opened fire, run away and thought he could get away. regular citizens chased him once again, wounding him. He desperately went to Galmudug but galmudug admin caught the snake and gave him to Puntland.

 

he had all the terrorist supplies including weapons, food and medicine. he was sent on a cowardly mission to destabilize puntland and cause terror.

This is something Puntland has been particularly successful with- the bringing to justice of disturbers of public order- whereas the federal government has failed miserably. This has been for the most part attributed to the vigilante and outspoken nature of the Puntland people. Though, this may very well be attributed to the low urban density compared to Mogadishu, which makes it easier to capture such perpetrators. Whatever it is, well done.

 

Galmudug is to commended as well. This shall serve as a lesson to the power of coordination and cooperation on issues such as security.

I wonder what is in the mind of this young man!! How could he go into a place and simply start shooting the people there who have done nothing to him and knows nothing about? What has Alshabaab told young men like him to brainwash them to such a grave extent? I think we need an in-depth study of Alshabaab's tactics of recruiting its foot soldiers.

alshabab terrorists want to create clan war. what they do is that they kill someone and then run to Galmudug. people in Puntland assume that clan militia from galmudug killed their people and the revenge starts. this game is what alshabab has been using to create clan animosity amongs dad walalo ah. people are slowly waking up to their games. before qaybdiid came to power, galmudug was a sleeping cell for alshabab. it was where they stayed and treated their wounded. today it is not a safe house for them because qaybdiid hates these terrorists. they used to hide in Garsoor disttict of galkacyo but ever since that terrost financier lady from galmudug clan and her hotel was shutdown (she was married to puntlander), alshabab lost a place to stay in garsoor. the financier lady is now in jail waiting for a trial.

 

the truth of the matter is that the same people that are giving weapons to alshabab (they are part of the SFG government) also want to destabilize puntland and cause chaos and terror for clan reasons. they are happy as long the focus and destruction can shift to Puntland. but Alshabab is a snake and anyone who feeds and gives weapons to them is also shooting themselves on the foot. alshabab will blow anyone in mogadishu or puntland regardless.

chasing terrorist after they shoot people is becoming the new practice for people of puntland. remember when they chased the terrorist who killed Sheekh Abduqadir in garoowe. that terrorist was caught and brought to justice by the government. he was beheaded in Puntland recently by military court. he found justice.

They give them titles like "Amniyaat and member of Jays hebel bin hebel," and are told they are the defenders of the land and the people from "murtadiin."

 

One of the teenagers who killed Dr.Ahmad Abdirahman in Bosaso, was asked if they were given any rewards(financial or otherwise) for the assassination of the Sheikh, and his answer "the Amiir praised them for the successful mission." That's all it takes to make an innocent poor kid into monster.

The level of violence perpetrated by the terrorist sect, Boko Haram, at least in the past six months, is just ridiculous. Suddenly, words are not enough to express profound thoughts on the amount of carnage being carried out by the terrorists. The body count rises all the time and who knows, what is being quoted in the media might actually be an understatement. There is no logic or pattern to the killings; they no longer discriminate based on ethnicity and religion in their attacks. They have ransacked whole villages, mosques, markets, public buildings and churches. They have succeeded in shutting down schools, burnt police barracks and killed so many of the security personnel fighting them. They have decimated the North-East zone and overall, reduced Nigeria’s stock on the global market. Now, the group has just graduated to abducting poor young women as sex slaves. Or whatever its members want to use them for. That is quite frightening and only heaven knows where all these might end.
