Cadale Posted February 19, 2014 walahi they are unbelievable, first time since 2011 there is heavy fightings in Huriwaa district. I dont know how many times i have written here the last couple of years that they should do something about that damn district. Just this morning the huriwaa governor was saying the entire district only got 26 police and was begging the sfg to send more police to the district otherwise al shabaab will take over. caawa dhiigeyga boqolkii ayuu marayaa
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted February 19, 2014 Training disciplining the security forces is number one priority if the SFG does not pay the forces on time or sometimes doesn't even pay them. They will neglect the security Alshabaab can easily give them 300 dollars to logistic explosives for them. Thats the biggest challenge you need to enlarge the interior ministry make sure the interior ministry and defense ministry focuses on Mogadishu and make sure the intelligence service has ears every where but it needs a proper budget and people with knowledge to execute those affairs. It seems the government in Mogadishu wants the African union troops to do all of that but the issue is only Somalis can secure the region the African union troops can only beat shabaab from the regions they can never maintain the security. cadnaan1 Posted February 19, 2014 this explains why the security is getting worst.... Taliyaha Nabadsugida iyo Sirdoonka qaranka Gen. Bashiir Goobe iyo saaxiibkii ay maqaayada ku wada lahaayeen London Xuseen Macallin oo sheegta la taliyaha madaxweynaha ee xaga aragagixisada, ayaa samaystay company- security oo lagu magacaabo Black Stone Security. Company-gaan waxaa ay masuul uga dhigteen (General Manager) Colonel ka tirsan nabadsugida Soomaaliya oo lagu magacaabo Jamaal Cabdi. Black Stone security company waxaa lagu waardiyeeyaa ama ay adeegsataa hantida iyo ciidamada hay’adda Nabadsugida iyo sirdoonka qaranka Soomaaliyeed. Gen Bashiir Goobe, ayaa bilihii ugu danbeeyay joojiyey mushaaraadkii uusiin jiray shaqaalaha iyo ciidanka Nabadusgida qaranka Soomaaliyeed, sababo lagu sheegay Gen. Bashir iyo Saaxiibkiis oo lacagtii hay’adda ku samaystay company-gan lagu magacaabo Black Stone Security firm, company-gaan oo uu doonayo inuu qandaraasyo xaga amniga ah uga qaado shirkadaha iyo hay’adaha Caalamiga ah ee dalka ku sugan. Sidoo kale waxaa ku lifaaqan warqad hantidhawrka Hay’adda Nabadsugidu ku sheegayo musuqmaasuqa hay’adda nabadsugida xadka uu gaarsiisan yahay. http://www.alldhacdo.com/kashifaad-black-stone-security-firm-caqabadda-amniga-muqdisho-maxaa-socda-oodan-ogeyn-documents/
galbeedi Posted February 19, 2014 I think a lot of foreign entities from the UN to relieve agencies, from Anti piracy task force and marine security agencies to intelligence members, from Unisom offices to foreign Embassies, who setup shop in Mogadishu, they all need protection and access to their daily interactions. The demand for local fixer and guide created huge private security companies. Most of the people who setup these companies are involved with highest level of the government. Huge money could be made by guiding and protecting these foreign agencies. Personally I do not believe any more any thing reported by Somali websites. Other than Hiiraan online and few others, there are no objective news outlets that have the integrity or the resources to investigate these serious issues. As I said before, foreign troops can only defeat armed insurgencies who hold territories. The issue of intelligence and going after clandestine al- Shabaab members is squarely a Somali issue. Reliable sources say that most of the bombs exploded in Mogadishu are assembled outside the city in the cities held by Al-shabaab. Then, they are smuggled by car or other means. That is why it is important to dislocate these militants from their bases. After defeating them from their save havens, their movements within urban area will be hard. We will go after their cells, and once you uncover one cell the domino may fall. Now they can build their bombs and dispatch to any city. On the issue of Huriwaa, definitely it is a save haven district for Al-shabaab. I heard last month that a truce and some kind of understanding was reached in Buulamareerto, between Al-shabaab and The mothers of the beans. Allahu Yaclam, but this district is an issue. Dr_Osman Posted February 19, 2014 Somalis need to understand the difference between politics and business, if you want to make money and that is your priority, get into business and stay out of politics. You can make just as much or money through peace then you ever can through insecurity, especially for the capital. There is way to many rogue individuals in hamar and the culture of impunity where everyone Moryan and sheikh are protected is their major downfall, they are really heading down a path today where it won't be long before Mogadishu itself will be declassified from capital city status and once that happens they have noone to blame but themselves. They are really playing with fire and this mentality of if I rule hamar I can rule Somalia which is far from the truth today, most other regions have their own backing too and you simply can't be a nation if 60% of Somalia's land mass punt and jubba and probably 70% of our sea is taken away from Somalia. Mahiigaan Posted February 20, 2014 The problem in Koonfur is every body is after easy money. If a strong and credible govern't takes shape in Mogadishu, people are afraid of loosing the easy way of managing their acquired life style for the last two decades. Nobody wants to earn a decent livelihood whether they be in the highest positions or at the lowest common man in the street. Mogadishu needs a cultural revolution through mass orientation and education.

Ugo, the president or his jufo aint arming al shabaab you need to make sense saxiib, they tried to kill the man in his first 48 hours in office. However the arming of al shabaab is done by the soldiers a result of not being paid for months. How does this effing government think they'll defeat al shabaab when they are effing not paying the soldiers who are risking their lifes every single day. Cadale Posted February 20, 2014 Mooge loool beesha's district are the safest and best security wise. Not because the government is doing their job the right way, but the fact that beesha despises al shabaab more than any other clan. If the sfg could do their jobs and stop the corruption and starts paying their soldiers al shabaab could be defeaten very easy but as long as these problems exists al shabaab will take advantage of it. Johnny B Posted February 20, 2014 Nothing is wrong with the Federal government of Somalia, but your wish to see the terror group of Al-shabab defeated and very soon is a tad bit exaggerated. That they can attack a Military post in Mogadishu district or launch a mortar from a housing area or using car bombs etc etc does neither mean the defeated terrorists are getting stronger nor it means the Somali armed forces and the AU forces are getting weaker. Every mortar attack or a car bomb blast in Mogadishu is being used as the Federal government's failure by those who wish it to fail. Nothing new there. Obviously the preparations of getting rid of the terrorists of Somalia are under way, this time next year, Godane and all Jihadists will be busy with thier 72 houris leaving Somalia alone.
