Xaaji Xunjuf Posted February 13, 2014 The Ethiopians since 1996 have been actively meddling in Somalia affairs arming one warlord against the other Ethiopia will now receive directly its funding from the European Union and their hungry troops will receive more money. The more they get paid the longer they want to stay. What the Somali government just did was legitimize Ethiopia stay in Somalia even though they have never left. We have to understand their role in the Somali conflict legalizing their stay u allow them to interfere deeply in Somalia domestic affairs the more and the longer they stay the more relevant IGAD will become in Somalia. Ethiopia has sinister motives in Somalia they already cleansed the border regions the central regions of Somalia and made sure ONLF no longer can hide there. Amisom has a mandate in Somalia Ethiopia and other countries are part of that mandate its like history is repeating just with a different Melody. Johnny B Posted February 13, 2014 Xaaji, we share the sentiment of not wanting foreign forces in our country but for different reasons.
CidanSultan Posted February 13, 2014 ^^^ there are no Ethiopian soldeirs in Somaliland. Ethiopia is a naihbour country and the relationship that Somaliland has with Ethiopia is the exact relationship it has with Djibouti. So instead of moaning produce concrete facts instead of emotional drivil. Somaliland is here because we make it to exist. Ethiopia doesnt. If Ethiopia could do anything for anyone in regards to military it would have created a state for you seeing their army have been in Somalia for over 2 decades. Johnny B Posted February 15, 2014 @Xaaji Xunjuf said: Johnny hebel iska difaac looma hadle do u support the Ethiopian Amisom mandate yes or no? I do not only support the Amisom mandate, i even supported Ethiopia's incursion in 2006, and who is you ? a separatist aiming at dismantling the Republic or a citizen who due to patriotism can't take the fact that the Republic is at the mercy of it's arch enemy ?
