Most people here do though, British/American etc. It's just that our mindset is lazy unlike the creative Cadaans thats why you'll always see Somalis from the first generation go to countries just to visit other families and the second generation go to the usual spots like Morocco, Dubai, etc.

Bagpacking is a privilege and one that is used by selfish, rich and privileged individuals.

While the rest of the world starves, a bagpacker spends thousands to peak at those "starving people" during the day and by night, sip a latte and write a blog about their experience.

 

I have seen countless Somalis get rejected at airports even when they carried passports of western countries.

In the colonial era, the colonisers would often bagpack to your "home land" and return to theirs with zebra heads as their mantles.

world would be better place if money spend unnecessary backpacking and luxury travel would spend to feed starving people!

There is nothing wrong with travelling and experiencing new cultures and meeting new people. Such experiences give people perspective. What one does with his/her money isn't your concern guys.

Stop playing a victim, at least it's better if they see these poor countries by themselves as their soul will grow because of it rather than going to a 5 star hotel, clubbing, beaches and the usual.
