burahadeer Posted December 8, 2013 Somalia neva cease to amaze me! the Americans along with international community was there in 93 to feed & keep peace between thm. Then came the Ethiopians in 2006 invited by Mogadishu leaders, then came Amisom that protects almost every gov;t building, airport, seaport and escorts the president & gov't officials in & out. Then came Kenyans in kismayo area. The Ethiopians r still in parts of Somalia like Beledweyne,Baidabo area etc and cris cross at will. Now they making a shame bunch of Somalis getting together in Somali territory that's making great strides as of late which itself is a very positive environment. More than shame lies where it really belongs....Somalia.Its more embarrassing for someone biting the flag they keep calling for help,,,,Ethiopians. galbeedi Posted December 8, 2013 I have no idea how they got their seat but the fact is they are always part of Puntland. One of their well known politicians is C/rasaaq Juriile, former director of the FAI which built the road between Gallkacayo and Boosaaso. This same Politician even lobbied for prime minister as a puntlander. No one can deny that they are integral part pf Puntland. You are implying that if you are a D bloc or member ofother so called 4 group you will not be Attacked. There were many victims of a different back ground who became victims of Mogadishu's harsh reality.
Saalax Posted December 8, 2013 Juriile is from Biyokulule Bosaso community different from the A - Salah.

thefuturenow Posted December 8, 2013 This is an excellent development. At least now we know that Somali leaders can sit in the same row. That alone should inspire hope. Also, Silanyo looking sharp. Truly Presidential.
galbeedi Posted December 8, 2013 I am totally looking on different angle in this Jigjiga affair. traditionally, big powers like the super powers or members of the security counsel used to dictate or influence matters in the third world. now look at Ethiopia, no Somali Maryooley in the horn can come together without the guidance of Ethiopia except the Late Igal of Somaliland. They train and arm the Galgaduud based Ehlu Sunna, they arm and train the Puntland Security forces, The Jubbaland agreement could not have been possible without their arm twisting and Siilaanyo knows the only way he could seated between warlord Madoobe and the puntland leader Faroole is the orders from Ato Hailemarium. The last but not the least Hassan Sheekh and the HAG are trying to be as close as possible. Is it possible to convince Ato Haile to create one single leader under him. Tallaabo Posted December 9, 2013 What is all this calaacal about? There is nothing wrong with politicians looking after the vested interest of their peoples. Madoobe, Faroole, Silaanyo, and the others are all sitting there because they benefit from the relationship they have with the Ethiopian regime. Call it whatever you want, but today the reality is that there is no Somaliwayne, no Somalinimo, no unity, no Somali Republic to compete with Ethiopia and the rest of the world; but there are other happy political entities which attach great value to the relationship they have with Ethiopia.
