You dont need the UN to build a functioning army unless u want un troops to protect you. The united nations partly lifted the arms embargo not that it stopped the influx of arms into to somalia what u need is proper structure in the defense department u need leadership that trains the arms forces, u need to be serious about reinstating the army united nations cannot build ano army for you and if you want gun ships war planes these tools are the most easiest to purchase you just need money what u need to do is pay the damn salaries of the sfg militia and stop stealing their monthly salary. The rest can be build on time.

e

SFG request was 12 Military helicopter to speed up the fight against Alshabaab , NO longer does the SFG depend on Aid to function never the less it will be a boost for the reconstruction of Somalia. Most of education and Business development - road constructions and etc in South Somalia are done by private businesses . Mogadishu port - Airport and general tax on the market are enough revenue to build a Professional army .

Pm Fawzia Yusuf Adam aggressive policy towards IC should be welcomed More o aggressive approach are need both at home and in the International arena .

I thought this was an NGO govnt? They should know funds don't come with strings attached and setting up a system of accountability isn't difficult. But is that what they want?
