Dalmar1 Posted November 25, 2013 I have a question to all here!,.....it looks ike the Oga.dens have settled their struggle with the Ethiopia as their Homeland and so did we a long time ago, shouldn't we presently or near future in Somalia once for all sit with the ethiopians and demarcate our borders officially, which is still disputed!,... i believe the Europeans mainly British suggested and advised us to settle with Warder as being Somalia's official border leaving the rest of ''Ogade/nia'' to the Ethiopians, which Ethiopia's (under Mengistu) agreed! Xaaji Xunjuf Posted November 25, 2013 It has been demarcated when Siad bare and Mengistu agreed to honor and respect and both should adopt and uphold the Italian Abyssinian treaty that separates Somalia from Ethiopia. The Ethiopian parliament in 1994 overwhelmingly accepted this , no Somalia parliament had ratified the agreement between Siad bare and mengistu in 1988. Because shortly later the state collapsed.
