guleed_ali Posted November 1, 2013 Being a distinguished commercial banker and running a Central bank are two different things. Central Bankers are more policy oriented and generally hail from Academia. Pursuing someone like Dr. Abdiwelli Gas (for example) would have been a better selection since that's his area of expertise. I didn't think she was a good hire in the first place, but she replaced a fellow Awdalite to keep everyone happy (IMHO). The President and his advisors need to learn how to vet their candidates and how to properly create a pool of candidates and go through a thorough interview and vetting process. Mooge Posted November 2, 2013 most somalis are very upset not because qoslaye is found out to be the most corrupt, but the way he attacked Yusur Abraar through his unuka mouthpiece Jowhar.com. i have talked to few guys in nairobi who belong to HAG enterprise and they think qoslaaye dropped the ball and shamed himself. yusur abrar is a somali hero and she deserves to commended for her stand against corruption. for qoslaaye to drag her name in the mud and to shame her was disgusting. she was really happy and enthusiastic about the being the bank chief. they let her down and she made a historic stand.
