First Somali made helicopter from scratch

Even the South Somalis were referred by the British as Arab. In their eyes only the stereotypical half naked Bantu would be African.

We can however not deny that many Somalilanders were uncle Toms to the British and tried to make the other Somali tribes sound inferior so that they would grow closer to the Queen's heart.

Says the terrorist who takes the orders from his Afghan daddies. Know your place kid. You can't

be screaming in one hand Khaatumo people are not Somalilanders on the other hand trying to force

other people on Puntland identity.

Mad Mullah What is this nonsense? There is dozens of historical sources out there talking about SNM superiority over some other Somalians. You as a Ethiopian who is under the Tigray regime should know better.

By simple definition, everyone is Somali Lander, but in the Somali context, it means they don't share your loony secession. Surely, someone of your high intellect and amazing brain can tell difference.....don't disappoint me now.

That's an excerpt from Richard Burton, isn't it? He was in Somalia in 1856 or so, before the partition of Africa and the establishment of British colonies in East Africa. You're conflating a lot of things here, and Burton's 19th century racist gaze on Somalis isn't any indication of what Somalis thought of themselves or what their relationship to the British was, because at the time of writing there was no relationship. Secondly, regardless of what Brits observed about Somalis, under the colonial state in Somaliland/Somalia, they were classified as "natives" like all other Africans in British colonies were. Somalis in other parts of British East Africa like Kenya and Tanganyika were the ones to organize for Asian status.

We are talking about politics (as khaatamu, Sland and Pland are political entities) and secession is a part of it or do you really believe tribal administrations are akin to identity, advancement and social hierarchy?

Nope. In the case of the Khaatumo the problem is not only politics but geographic, land issues, grievances,

identity crisis. Many of them don't consider themselves Somalilanders. Likewise many people I have come

across from the west Puntland state don't consider themselves as mainland Puntlanders, that is why they

don't adhere to the one sub clan Puntland Faroole project, neither do they take sides between Khaatumo,

Jubbaland issues. Somaliland is a nation to those who adhere to it.

In other words, politics!!!!

p.s. Khaatumo, West Puntland, Jubbaland, all the entities you listed at the end of the day call themselves Somalis and consider themselves to be part of Somalia.

Politics is the main one but there is other grievances. That is true but it shouldn't be confused with a group of people being happy to be under another state. One good example is Kismaayo where such disputes resulted in the deaths of hundreds few months ago. Whether they consider themselves as part of Somalia or not, Somalia is a failed state for the past 22 years.

You can read right? That's what the British themselves had to say. Don't grow angry and call me an Ethiopian when your ethnic Somalilanders live right next to me. :D

EVERY COUNTRY has gone through the shit we're going through now, the solution is NOT running away. Did the English create their own little states or did they unite? What about the Americans? What about the Chinese? Do you know how many Kingdoms had the same ethnic group?

Why does it matter what some obscure person might have said when there are many other reliable sources? Do you think we will fall in line and cry for the deceased papa Melez (like Iley your cousin) did Lol. You're a joke. Somaliland does not need a validating from outsiders, its superiority over many others Somalis is already in display. The most peaceful, the most democratic , the most richest(judging by state revenue) Somali state when you exclude the half Anfar Djibouti. That is why Somalia states including this Puntland you are trying to advertise like to mimic Somaliland.
