Jacpher Posted June 18, 2010 First time watching the game in French. French commentators waa qashin. I can't understand why US players want to make inside the box passing the ball. No shots at all.

NGONGE Posted June 18, 2010 ^^ Best game of the world cup by miles. Crazy yanks with their never-say-die attitude! Could they not just give in and lose like any other respectable team? War someone need to teach them about football.

Libaax-Sankataabte Posted June 18, 2010 Switzerland credits U.S. for its upset of Spain Gelson Fernandes scored the goal and Diego Benaglio produced the saves, but it was the United States that inspired the gameplan for Switzerland's 1-0 shocker over Spain on Wednesday. Swiss Manager Ottmar Hitzfeld offered a tip of the cap to Bob Bradley and his staff. Drawing from strategy implemented by the Americans against the Spanish at the Confederations Cup in South Africa last year, Hitzfeld devised a plan that conceded possession, clogged the middle of the park and counterattacked rapidly "We saw how the Americans played against Spain with a lot of interest," Hitzfeld said. "You know that if you are going to have a chance against [spain] you need to do certain things very well. The USA did not try to do everything. They accepted the fact that Spain has pace and width and simply made sure they kept the center of defense as tight as they could. It is not a perfect system, but it was a very interesting tactic and it worked."

Libaax-Sankataabte Posted June 18, 2010 I like England, but something tells me the Algerian khamriileyaal may do some damage today. We shall see.
Libaax-Sankataabte Posted June 18, 2010 Algeria is not playing a bad ball at all. They are quick on the counter-attack.
Libaax-Sankataabte Posted June 18, 2010 It seems England is struggling. This game reminds me of France vs. Mexico.

Haatu Posted June 18, 2010 After a very slow start England have started to up their game. What is Heskey doing on the pitch? Lampard has been anonymous for large swathes of the half. Lennon needs to stop killing every english attack.
