I really do feel for the Somalis in Islii. I hope they make it through this ok. They are resilient bunch though, always coming through from all kinds 'Raaf' iyo colaad. Ilahay ha idin dhowro.

Yaabanoow, Soomaalida Islii's resilience has more to do with $$$ than anything else. Raafkii dheeraa socday earlier this year dad badan kumanaan doolar lagu soo daaye. Askarta Kiinyaatiga would sell dalkooda for a few dollars if they could.

I have close connection to Nairobi and Utanga, lived there for years after the civil war in Somalia, before coming to the U.S. I would say 60% of the Somalis in the U.S came through Nairobi, Kenya before coming to the U.S. So i would i always be grateful to the Kenyans for what they did for us.

 

If they ever catch these Shabab kids who carried this out, they should be hanged from the tallest tree in the city and made example out of 'em. It's shame walahi.

Islii has become acrazy place; there are even criminal gangs of young Somalis, like superpower. Things have really changed from what you remember.
