It's really shameful that parts of our country are now controlled by foreign Bantu Kenyan military and now Somalis have to stoop to the level of useless suicide missions to defend themselves. Our ancestors would roll over in their graves if they saw the Somali nation's current state.

 

In my opinion, Somalis should break ties with Kenya and look more towards Ethiopia, Sudan and Eritrea as local allies. We have ethnically more in common with them anyway.

When hostages are involved, and the captors are willing to kill 'em, than i dont see what the Kenyan forces could do at this point. If they go in with gun's blazing, those Al.Shabab people would easily kill all 30 people they are holding (and they have shown willingness to do it, if they killed 90+ people). Hopefully this would be a learning experience for them and they would know how to respond to situations like this in the future.

- Reliable sources indicate the Israeli commandos moved in there after studying the situation all day, they are well equipped and can withstand a grenade attack on them.

 

- Kenya government made a special request to Israeli government earlier in the morning, already the Israeli forces were in Nairobi as special adviser to protect Israeli interests in the region.

 

- The attackers were from 9 different nationalities.

Nuune, how would they know the attackers are from 9 different countries, if they are still holed up with the hostages in the mall? I have seen some say they were Somalis, Arabs, Kenyan natives, etc. They should at least wait until they have ended this thing and do a thorough investigation. All this does is, fan the hatred and mistrust among communities.
