nuune Posted September 13, 2013 We already knew they didn't make any announcement/signing to support Syria action, but that Saudi Arabia and Turkey made the statement on Somalia's behalf. Sep 13, 2013 Somalia Parliament’ Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Committee contradicted that Somali Government has signed US petition against Syria. Deputy Chairperson of the committee Prof. Mohamed Omar Dalha said that they know nothing about the signing and calls to wait for the government’s statement on the issue. The U.S. Special Representative for Somalia, James McAnulty has recently welcomed the decision of the Federal Government of Somalia to join 33 other nations in supporting the September 6 Joint Statement on Syria, according to Dalsan, a local radio in Mogadishu. But Somali government hasn’t issued a statement confirming or denying their US support on a military action against Syria. “We only heard from the media. The government, Office of the President and Foreign Affairs Ministry has said nothing about this issue, so it’s very important to know the accuracy of this.” Dalha said in an interview with a local radio. US is seeking international support to take a military action against Syria, accusing Asad’s regime using a chemical weapons against civilians. Mad_Mullah Posted September 13, 2013 You remember organizing football or going cinema with the guys -- but there's always that one guy that doesn't really fit in with the click, maybe nobody likes him, maybe he doesn't bring anything to the group. So he's OK with the plans but a few days later he comes out saying no, thinking that the plans will now change because of him, not realizing that nobody gives two flying F's about him or his plans. That person is Somalia. OK.... Djibouti has more clout than Somalia.....OK. Let that sink in......OK.
