The reality is the majority of erigavo support changing the currency to SOMALILAND shilling because firstly it protects them from fake money being shipped in from Somalia that has led to severe inflation. So the option is clear fake money or solid money. Remember money is the exchange of goods and services for paper currency if your paper currency is not safe then it makes no sense to continue with it. Some people jump on this and think people are rejecting it. The majority support the Somaliland shilling, the government has authorised it and hence why it will go ahead.
