I think Kulmiye is looking to leave a lasting legacy. I have always been an udub supporter. Not because of tribe because most of my Gaaroodi folk support ucid. I supported udub because riyale advanced democracy and was slowly making progress. I was the most anti Kulmiye opponent. However achievements to date so far are impressive. They delivered on the national tv station and added a continental radio station to it. The replaced the currency in the eastern regions. They increased the pay of the armed forces and ranked them and made education free for all school children in all the regions. They have handled the disruptions in taleex very well and calmly and have brought on board top leaders. The reason for this next move is simple the people of SOMALILAND have not only been complaining about the roads for a long time but now they have actually started to build the roads themselves. The state needs roads to transport armies and resources and collect taxes and ensure security and the people need it to travel and trade. Roads and infrastructure are important if the country is to advance forward. This trip to china no one told them to go the government decided. As they say you have to spend money to make money

 

Lets wait and see the people will build it but the government in my view wants to help with machinery were it can because its good for their image and will help them generate more revenue and assist with security etc not to mention reelection aims

Gaaroodi I'm not expecting any thing from that delegation but other initiatives are great: fallowing projects are community initiatives:

 

1- Wadada Cad (Hargeisa Salaxley road) almost 40 km finished

2- Dilla Borama road almos finished 27 km

3-Dawga cad road Hargeisa to Djibouti most difficult part in Gollis mountains 4 km is finishid.

4-Burco-Oodwayne-Hargeisa road well progressed

5- Borama Camuud road finished.
