Carafaat Posted July 29, 2013 Brave Prime-Minister for appointing her. Except for France's Minister for Oversea Territories, I dont think there has ever been a black Minister in all of Europe.
Gar_maqaate Posted July 29, 2013 The UK has had ministers of African and Asian heritage before.
MoonLight1 Posted July 29, 2013 The Brits are the most civil when it comes to ethnic minorities, they had MPs, ministers, and high ranking civil servants, and national football team players since 1970s. The southern & Eastern Europe are much behind when it comes to minorities. I heard these days in Greece you might be lynched just by walking down the street if you have African features. Gar_maqaate Posted July 29, 2013 Immigration is a recent phenomenon in southern and Eastern Europe so the comparison with Britain is grossly simplistic.
