Somaliland police receive 20 emergency police vehicles

 

HARGEISA-Somaliland’s Police Commissioner Abdilahi Fadal Iiman has received 20 emergency lightning police cars from the new minister of interior Ali Mohamed Warancade on Tuesday.

 

The New Interior Minister has been in charge of the ministry for short period and according to reports that he managed to help the police to get enough cars to do their national duty.

 

Once the Interior minister was about to take office, he pledged to rebuild the police in the country.

 

Ceremony where the keys were given to the police Commissioner, Somaliland’s Minister of Interior said that the purpose is to give the police the capability to respond to situations where they are needed to respond very swiftly.

 

The Interior Minister told police will use emergency lightning cars to conduct their daily day tasks.

 

He added that 10 other emergency lightning cars will be brought to the country and will be distributed to other regions of the country.

 

Somaliland’s police Commissioner accepted the donation from the minister of interior and extended thanks to him.

 

He admitted that police were desperately in need of emergency lightning police vehicles in a bid to discharge their duty.

 

He called upon the community to work with the police and to report immediately if they smell a rat.

 

He made clear that police are ready to respond to every call from the community with immediacy and asked them to call 999 for
