The Zack Posted July 17, 2013 Former Somali PM Ali Geedi gave a very interesting interview to one of the pro-Shabaab HAG radios in Xamar. This phone interview covers a lot about the current Somali issues. At one point, the reporter attacks Geedi and calls him names, i.e.traitor. "Aren't you the one that brought Xabashis to cleanse Xamar population?", the reporter asked. He also asks him questions about controversial things in the Somali politics. Geedi, surprisingly, supports Kenya's intervention in the Jubooyinka. Geedi also condemns the SFG for failing to keep Xamar peaceful and for creating chaos in other areas. Well here it is ... http://dhanaan.com/cali-maxamed-geedi-oo-wareysi-xasaasi-ah-siiyay-mid-kamida-idaacadaha-taageera-shabaab/
Cambuulo iyo bun Posted July 17, 2013 LOL aint Geedi the man who lives in a multi million house which he stole from the nation? Aint he the man who threatened to wipe of an entire sub clan in xamar?Aint he the man who paid for a multi million wedding with aid he got from Saudi arabia aimed for the nation? Zack you have surely come very far and before you start justifying Geedi i want to let you know that i know the guy personally since he's married to my auntie. He is the last person to speak about the government taariikhdisa madow cidna looga sheekeyn maayo
nuune Posted July 17, 2013 ^^ very unlucky auntie waaye. Zack, so he supports Jubbaland makes Geedi a holy man miyaa, to hell with him, he was the man who advocated the fight against the Maxaakiimta while he knew the peace Mogadishu was enjoying, Yeey never said Amxaarooy kaalaya, it was Geedi who was airing his love for Xabashida from Addis Ababa & Nairobi. Yeey never hide his hatred for Xabashida, if it wasn't for Geedi & Junior Aidiid, Yeey would have shared power with Maxaakiimta(at one instance he even said wasiiro ayaan ka dhigeenaa hadey hubka dhigaan oy nala xaajoodaan), and here we all blame Abuunaa Yeey while we all know how patriotic he is despite his repeated interviews about being the first person oo qori qaato dowladna la dagaalo. Khayr Posted July 17, 2013 So it is true, he did take a generous retirement package from the TFG and their allies.
Mafia Posted July 17, 2013 Indeed a fascinating interview. Gedi held his own in the face of an onslaught by unprofessional militant interviewer. My favorite comment by the reporter, "Gowrac iyo waxaanad geysan malaha Caliyow."lol" All the people that are accusing Gedi, where is the evidence? They said he was married to a christian woman, turned out to be false. They said, the forced residents out of Mogadishu, turned out he was looking out for them according to people who worked with him. I am not defending him, but for all the people that call him names, an equal number of people give the opposite impression of him. Does anyone have a picture of the multi-million dollar house he purchased with public funds? Wasn't he a business man previously and couldn't he amassed wealth that he could use to purchase the house if it indeed exists?
Mafia Posted July 17, 2013 Gedi is a seasoned politician and he will not be absent from the political scene. Many people support him.
Carafaat Posted July 17, 2013 Interesting intervieuw. Thanks for posting Zack. The man Geedi is an interesting figure. He seems to potray a strange form of realism with complete lack of any idealism for Somalia. he further potrays that he lacks trust in fellow Somalis. On every single issue mentioned, he choose the vieuw of the foreign perspective and soly blaming Somalia for any discord.
The Zack Posted July 17, 2013 Canbuulo, regardless of his history, the man made several good points in this interview. He agreed Hassan Sheikh is incapable to lead this nation. "Wax yaalo kale inta ku mashquulay baa hadeer xitaa amaankii Xamar faraha ka baxay" aint that true? Nuune, taas maa keentay hadaan lol Mafiyo LOooool LOooL. "GOWRAC iyo waxaadan geesan malaha caliyow" LOOOL very funny indeed. Carafaat, the point is Culusow's failures are so obvious that even Geedi and Baadiyow can see them. The country needs saved from the this guy.

The Zack Posted July 17, 2013 Canbuulo, how many suicide attacks and road explosions have occured in Xamar the last 3 months? How many time did Shabaab "take over" an entire complex in Xamar and killed like it is nobody's business? You wanna know why? Xasan changed the focus of the SFG and that of AMISOM. Shabaab should've been on the run, not the other way around. Xasan gave break to Shabaab and started chaos in other parts of the country. beledweyne, Marka, Baydhabo, Kismayo, you name it. Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar Posted July 17, 2013 Geedi supports Kuukaayo occupation of Jubbooyinka. Ma waxaanaa war ah? Of course, he has to support them minakooda ayuu daar weyn kaga deganyahay. Dah. Xishood dadaa ka tagay in order to defend Kuukaayada dalkeena xoog ku gishay, quoting every questionable, dubious character that supports their occupation. Who is next? Ileey supports Xabashi occupation of Baay, Hiiraan, Bakool, Gedo...? Yaab badanaa.
