Xaaji Xunjuf Posted July 15, 2013 ^ it is Balkanized just not officially , Somaliland broke away in 1991, Puntland in 1998 created an autonomous state but it is independent on all fronts , it sometimes goes on equal footing with the Somali federal government and now we have jubbaland in the Making , which will serve Kenya as a buffer zone.
