nuune Posted July 12, 2013 ^^ Are you saying there are no fighter jets in Puntland, why don't you make a visit to the Air Force Base outside Bosaso. Gaaroodu has some series problems, every post of his, he mentions a British.

nuune Posted July 12, 2013 Maya Tallaabo, there are indeed an Air Force Base in Bosaso, ask me as I visited there 3 months ago, even though the number of jets and helicopters are not that many, they only number 48 Fighter Jets and about 18 Helicopters. Xaaji Xunjuf Posted July 13, 2013 ^^ Do you think Somaliland doesn't know its Somali airspace Somaliland and Somalia together they are going to manage it from Hargeisa, its a compromise , remember on all the other points they disagreed. I dont see how this is federalism with Somalia is Galmudug ximan iyo xeeb puntland also in the Joint committee. Its just a temporarily solution for now. Lets see how the October talks go in a few months time. Lol@ People thinking Somaliland has been tricked into accepting Federalism, does federalism say that every region with the SFG manages it airspace lol. The question you should ask your self why did the Somali goverment agreed to share the airspace with Somaliland when it could have easily just managed it on their own. One nation, one aviation! The solution, in whatever form it comes, was always going to be a compromise and a mutually beneficial understanding. For too long Somalis have had a zero-sum approach to their political dealings with eachother and its as though they are finally realizing this is only destructive and that agreeing on mutually beneficial and acceptable agreements is far more beneficial and stable. I am not disagreeing someone had to compromise, that was necessary. I am just stating the outcome of the agreement.
