Ethiopia never had a Somali FM. No wonder they are so narrow minded and have problems with all their neighbours(Eritrea, Sudan, Egypt, Somalia). A Somali diplomat could expand the horizon of the Xabashis.

^^ Ethiopia has no problem with its neighbors they have good relations with Sudan with South Sudan with Djibouti with Somaliland with Somalia., actually much of sub saharan Africa supports Ethiopia against Egypt. The only Country Ethiopia has a problem with is Eritrea, and Ethiopia managed to isolate Eritrea, from the region.

Yemeni traders first brought diracs to Djibouti then from there it reached SOMALILAND and through popular culture it reach the rest of Somalis. The material was Yemeni and the product itself was Yemeni. somali cultural clothing looks nothing like Dirac the Dirac was for special ceremonies wedding etc. Qaadka came from Yemen as well along with the macawis for men, half our language, religion and even poetry and music like the oud.
