Dabrow Posted June 18, 2013 Marka- — Somali government troops and AMISOM troops took control of several towns in the lower Shabelle region of Somalia yesterday. The troops gained control of Mubarak,Ugunji,Nuun and Furuqley towns which fall under Qoryoley and Audinley districts in the lower Shabelle region. Alshabab previously controlled these Districts and they were forced out by the surging troops who are on a mission to expand government controlled areas in Somalia.
