Dabrow Posted June 16, 2013 Mogadishu- — A delegation led by the president of the federal republic of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud will attend the G8 summit in London today. The president got an official invitation from the prime minister of Britain Mr. David Cameron. The president is accompanied by high government delegation including Somalia's finance minister Mr. Mohamud Hassan and the governor of Somalia's central bank Mr. Abdisalam Haji Hadiye among other government delegation. Mr. Mohamud will also attend a special ceremony at the queen's palace and is also scheduled to have a private meeting with the Britain's prime minister. The president will meet leaders of donor countries who will attend the G8 meeting. Beer-Gaal Posted June 18, 2013 Is it true that President Hassan was not invited to the G8 meeting in first place and hence he is back to Mogadishu yesterday some how disappointed? these are the reports some sections in Somali media are running now . what was the purpose of the presidents travel to London last week ? any one?
