Both were Somalilanders and if you want to know their Tribe Haji sudi belongs to the same sub sub sub clan of President Siilaanyo. You do know the highest members of the dervish movement were mostly from the SNM clans. Not that it matters because the dervish movement was not a clan organization.They were an islamist crew.

Not sure about the distinct History what these guys are parading here , but they are just part of the ictraaf searching team, anything that helps the cause of recognition as an independent state. But the Brits have never added anything of History to Somaliland Somalilanders, speak their language and not English as their first language are 100% Muslims So what history did they add lol We lived and had a history before the English men came to the shores of Somaliland and certainly after. The British didn't even care much about their colony it was just a strategic route for them. Do you think if SL was recognized people would demonstrate on the streets in the rain. Read the message 30 years of chaotic union and the last message 20 years of working democracy. By the way brits only colonized SL for 74 years. Before that the ottomans were there.

Some info of Haji sudi shabelle born as Ahmed warsame also known As Haji Sudi Shabelle born in 1842 is one of the founders of the dervish movement and the leading and longest serving commander.He belonged to the 5 men who fired the first shots against the brits. In 1901 The British government called for the heads of the following men dead or alive haji Sudi, Muhammad abdullah hassan diririye araale Diiriye guure, And Sultan Nur, only Sultan nur life could have been spared the British imperial government said because he was a sultan.I think he took part of all the raids and died in Taleex at the last battle at the battle of Hagoone. Before the dervish movement started he brought Sunuusi Sudanese dervishes he introduced the traditional dervish clothing. He worked in Sudan and Adan before dervish movement was established. He spoke English Somali Arabic and Swahili.
