Abtigiis Posted June 5, 2013 But then this is a serious indictment of President Hassan's leadership. He is the President of all Somalis, not his clan. While, from the get-go, Faroole never pretended to be anything beyond the President of his pirate clan. In fact, Faroole did not even claim to be the President of the block. So, Faroole is working to his terms of reference, while Hassan is working to a HAG Terms of Reference (judging by that photo), which is what scares us. This story is right in one way: **** duopoly remains Somalia's lupus.
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted June 5, 2013 Abtigiis you are right not that long ago Faroole didn't even consider the community in Somali galbeed Somalis. He considered them people who mastered the Somali language not per say Somalis. And now he wants to be viewed as the protector of the larger tribe. Abtigiis Posted June 5, 2013 Xaaji, war horta wixii dacaayad siyaasadeed ah iyo wixii jira aynu kala saarno. Qofka hadaad nacdana wax walba oo xun looma aaneeyo. Faroole's words about "Somali-speaking people in Ethiopia" was an unfortunate use of words, nothing malicious. Wuxuu rabay inuu yidhaa "Dadkaasi Somalia ka mid ma aha ee waa dad Somali ah oo aanu isku af ku hadalno...', laakin siduu u dhigay baa qaldaneeyd. Ducaysane Posted June 5, 2013 No matter how you look at it, those two pics are unfortunate
nuune Posted June 5, 2013 ^^ Agree with you yaa Duceysane, but in my opinion if it is true, then the following is valid: - One picture represents regional clan, or federal states dominated by one clan as we already knew anyway, the recent meeting of Puntland & Jubbaland with Kenya is purely dominated by the said clan. - The other picture supposed to represent the country, to an international level of higher degree, the President delegation & Japan meeting in this case, so it can be argued that the President is not representing regional state clans but the country of Somalia and his team of delegation should NOT contain one clan dominance if the reports are TRUE, this is to avoid the hype we are hearing and seeing now, the president needs play the card system quite well and his advisers need to be fired because they are not DOING their jobs not only this but in everything of any kind of governance. xiinfaniin Posted June 5, 2013 Such tabloid reports of smear and slander should not be entertained. The president has a right to choose his advisers; representation is at cabinet level and at the parliament, not at the office of the president. If the folks whose pictures are paraded around are not known criminals, they have a right to serve their president and country. Faroole and his delegates are Somali politicians and major stakeholders of Somali affairs and their meeting with a key regional powerhouse should be viewed in a political lenses. There is a legitimate criticism against the president and his government: they turned what should have been a success reconciliation story and political progress in the country (Kismayo Conference) to a political crisis that he seems to be unable to manage now. That is what is disappointing and unfortunate. Faroole and those who share federalism views are natural allies and no one should be surprised if they lobby their point of view in the circles and the powers that call the shots in Somali affairs. We should also stop the pretense and the feign of projecting Somalia as normal country. And that is perhaps where the problem of President's behavior lies . Xaaji Xunjuf Posted June 5, 2013 The problem is the Jubbaland thing is a clan thing and its being encouraged by the Pirates up north, and since these 2 are exclusive clan states what is left is the federal government since the federal government is not really forming federal states. it takes all representation for one clan to its simple. I believe if there were no clan states in Somalia hassan approach would have been different 2 and when he is going abroad.
xiinfaniin Posted June 5, 2013 ^^By now you should now the views of those who are inflicted with a deep hatred for a particular clans do not count

xiinfaniin Posted June 5, 2013 ^No it is not in my head. It is obvious. You cannot hide your envy and hatred toward those you perceive to be stronger than yours. Who created this nonsensical post and to what end? It is Xaaji Habaar :D
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted June 5, 2013 Xiinfaniin you are hallucinating why would envy a Somali clan i have no reason to do so , you should stop being so suspicious. We are just discussing the Politics there is no hatred.
