Yunis Posted June 2, 2013 :DMoonLight sxb you made a point, laakiin weren't clan names disallowed in here?
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted June 2, 2013 This is not a big issue these people are just the president trusted staff. Its just a coincident they share the same ancestry. The man who wrote this article said also its clearly not something new in the Somali political culture. By the way aslong as Saacid is oke with it and he doesn't see it as a problem i dont think this a problem. What is important is the final agreement Somalia got 55 Million USD aid from Japan , i think its Mission accomplished. And the Japanese promised they would help Somalia with creating jobs and help assist Somalia on many other fields.
Miyir Posted June 2, 2013 I am not surprised Qoslaaye action, he is very transparent.
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted June 2, 2013 I dont think the constitution says that he has to pick people from other corners when taking part of a conference. People should really stop crying you cant call for autonomous states and say the federal government is being unfair to our clan states. At the same act dramatic and want to be represented at every conference abroad.
warsamaale Posted June 2, 2013 but that is why people are calling for autonomous states, they know the pie won't be shared equally by those in power, as is happening currently, HAG sidelining all other Somali clans and taking everything for themselves, even the most miniscule positions. First: Qoslaye is Somalia President his role is to represent the Country. second: we have PM with cabinet who supposed to run the country, all missing in action when needed to present our needs for assistance and receive the help for their ministries. Third: why we have Cabinet? Fourth: all his clans men at meeting none of them are connected to the relevant ministries, they all work at his office. Brilliant points Miyir. xx dosn't like valid points. add this fifth point: our Constitution clearly states that we are a prime-ministerial state not presidential. Qoslaye acted like a maamul goboleed president not a statesman. he is grabing power like a mad man, even when the USaid guy came to xamar he was the one meeting him at the airport while the PM was in the city, also when congressmn Keith Elison came he jumped infront of cameras and gave joint press conference at the airport,. For God's sake why do we have ministers then?
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted June 2, 2013 Somalia is more semi presidential republic the power lies in the hands of the President while the prime minister operates more as the vice president. Miyir he still represents Somalia dont you see the Somali flag in front of the conference. The Prime minister are in Mogadishu running the daily affairs of the government. They couldn't both leave the country, The Foreign Minister is In Kenya on a foreign trip. Kenya and Somalia are still not in agreement he needed her there. Xaaji Xunjuf Posted June 2, 2013 Moonlight this is Africa when foreign delegates from Africa or Arab countries arrive the Prime Minister welcomes them or the foreign minister. We have seen it with the Egyptian foreign minister Muhammad kamel was received by Fawziyaa. But when Foreign delegates from America and other western powers they get a welcome from the President. Qoslaye With the head of the USaid, where is the minister of national disaster management? With Congressman Ellison. even foriegn ministers are hijacked by the president.
