Mario B Posted May 28, 2013 There are elections happening left, right and centre, at regional and local level. Who is supervising them?, and how do we know they are free and fair? Mr President, if you want to run a successful administration then you need to appoint an autonomous, constitutionally established federal authority responsible for administering all electoral processes in the Republic. This institution will be, not only the guardian of the Republic, but also democracy and free and fair elections. Once instituted, you could hold local elections in Benadir's 16 districts and thus setting an example for the rest of the country. This exercise of democracy, I believe will energize and foster a civic spirit in the capital. This civic spirit will also reinvigorate the Republic by showing the naysayer that your admin means business. It will also help in your next endevour, collection of taxes, as you know there cannot be taxation without representation. Regards Mario

There is so much a 'third party/messengers' can do for you. He needs to go and sell his vision to his political foe, Mr Madoobe.

Tillamook Posted May 28, 2013 ^ Lol:D The president of Somalia, Culosow has been diagnosed with a severe case of jubalanditis. It is reported that a beleaguered population who want their president to get well have sought the aid of the two most leading specialists in the treatment of jubalanditis. These Doctors are Dr. farataag and Dr. faroole who both are adamant that our dear president can only be treated with strong dose of reality and have prescribed a daily course of constitutional tablets-- the federal kind:D

Mario B Posted May 28, 2013 Folks, lets talk elections and participatory governance, so what do you think if local election were held in Mogadishu at the end of the year, is it practical/feasible? Damn, where is Oba when you need him? He could give his analysis on this matter.
