nuune Posted May 14, 2013 Ban all UN agencies as well, I hate anything to do with UN. But I thought this news of UN handing over the Somali resources would be welcomed by Somaliland, would Somaliland be happy if UN keeps Somali Airspace and manage it for Somalis. Miyir Posted May 14, 2013 me think is just playing hard ball to get more concession from Mogadishu then when UN managed the airspace? I feel you guys not easy dealing Mogadishu!
Tallaabo Posted May 14, 2013 Somaliland should also ban all international airliners from entering its airspace without paying the flyover fees directly to the Somaliland government.
nuune Posted May 14, 2013 ^^ Tallaabo, that would be good if Somaliland had the equipments necessary to handle/monitor airlines entering its airspace, in that case it can monitor its radar who enters/passes/lands and when and the bill is sent to the aircraft owner, no ban can hold without having proper system in place, just reminding you. Carafaat Posted May 14, 2013 The UNHAS and ECHO flights destort the local airlines markets. Local airlines can transport NGO staff and NGO cargo. They should have been banned long time ago.
Xaaji Xunjuf Posted May 14, 2013 Nuune its better if the un manages it. If that doesnt happen sl should be given the authority to manage their own airspace. If they refuse un flights will be banned. I say good step, who do they think these un clowns are do they think the. African union amisom guarded govt is in control of sl lol

It is very easy to obtain the equipment to jam the radio communication which is so vital to air safety. Without radio communications no airliner will enter our airspace. nuune Posted May 14, 2013 Tallaabo, if it is that easy, Somaliland would have obtained long time ago, the process is not that easy sxb, equipments maybe, I know it, and involves many organizations, ICAO and many other travel monopoly groups, if they don't recognize your system it means you are NOTHING, and they can do your airspace whatever they want unless you threaten with Fighter Jets guiding them forcefully to land, this is what Somaliland needs to do if it wants to ban every airline over there, waxa kale waa just pure talk inaar. Somalia Posted May 14, 2013 Wallahi sometimes I wonder how entertaining Somalia would be if there wasn't this kind of illogical calaacal. Is it not Somalia's airspace being managed by Somalia's government?
