Complicated Posted May 11, 2013 No wonder Somalis don't agree on anything. The one from Hargaysa hates Xamar, the one from Xamar hates Kismayo, the one from Bosaso hates Jigjiga and the one from Jigjiga hates Xamar. It is a never ending cycle of hate. We are people who thrive on the misery of their kins and worst of all, one would go out of his way to amplify the fire next door while illogically arguing to being a "nationalist" or hating the idea of "qabiil". PeaceNow's "we are cursed people" comment comes to mind.

Xaaji Xunjuf Posted May 11, 2013 interesting development it seems that they cant even agree to select a leader, because it will create friction they just think by sitting in Kismayo things might change. The real issue is large stakeholders are opposed to the conference.

Hargeysa does not hate Xamar, hargeysa just refuses to be ruled from xamar or to be part of the failed union but there is no hate at all, people in Somaliland wish to see a strong united Somalia , next to Somaliland.
