At the end of the day - he is going to run into the limits of his power in a new Somalia. You can dictate to any region or city anymore. Those in Hiiraan or Bay who might accept his candidates for government today will tomorrow demand that they choose their own representatives and build their own regional government. As it is - he's got so much to do on the security front - it's a wonder why he's opening up a can of worms unnecessarily.

What a pitiful lie from a secessionist. In Hiiraan, the locals are being sidelined unlike in Jubbaland where 500 delegates have arrived from all tribes.

 

In Hiiraan, where the president of Somalia Hasan Sheikh Mahamud's reer abti live, they are sidelining minority clans in favour of the bigger one. Historically this has been consistent from the previous century till now, some of those minorities have fled to Jubbaland, where they are treated equally, but not in Hiiraan, that is what history. :eek:
