Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar Posted April 29, 2013 This is also what caused the original rift between the two former friends -- Jomo Kenyatta and Jaramogi Oginga Odinga, president and vice president, respectively, at Kenyan independence. They are also the fathers of major candidates of the recent concluded Kenyan elections -- Uhuru Kenyatta and Raili Odinga. Jaramogi wanted to redistribute those lands to the poor Kenyan folks. Jomo didn't want to. Asagaa isku qoray, isa siiye dhulkaas balaaran after they were bought back from the colonial British government. Sometimes, if one travels from Nayroobi to all the way to Bambaasa waxaa la leeyahay dhulkaan dhan Kenyatta family ayaa isla leh. Waa mind-boggling heerka ee bililiqada dowladeed gaartay. Candidate Raila wanted to reform this, to reverse this 50 years of injustice and bililiqo. Kenyatta obviously doesn't want, though he doesn't state publically.
