Blessed Posted April 25, 2013 ^Have a look at this one Che : http://news.sky.com/story/1082878/why-uk-is-opening-new-embassy-in-somalia This passage is quite telling:. "Somalia is strategically important, both for its position on the Horn of Africa, and for its recently confirmed energy reserves. Because the country does not have a fully functioning infrastructure, profiting from its hydro carbons remains a plan for the future, but the UK and other countries are positioning themselves to co-operate with the new federal government." William Hague I think it is best if the Somalia government waits until they are fully capable of controlling their security, borders, economy, etc, etc before rushing to sign any agreement with anyone. Sakata Posted April 26, 2013 Who ever pays the bills runs the house. If Somalis want to see a solution in Somalia, dig in your own pockets and pay your bills indiscriminately to your government. Then and only then could there be a lasting peace in Somalia. Lets stop whingeing about others and their interests in Somalia, lets face it we need to make a choice here - can we run our home or will they do it for us?
