I wanted to introduce you all to the two turkeys who live on my street, I've named them Thing 1 and Thing 2. I believe they're a couple because they're usually together or never too far apart. I like them because like me, they give no f*cks whatsoever. We've also been through a lot together now as neighbours for the last 9 months, and I've taken to photographing them on my cell whenever I see them around.

 

Fall 2012

And after the Boston bombing, clearly not giving a f*ck (I was concerned when I couldn't find them, and then I looked up):

Ah, never heard the word before, thanks. I didn't know the word for baby turkey either until I just looked it up, apparently they're called "poults" But no, I haven't seen them... I'm sure they wouldn't be as friendly if they had their young around, wild turkeys are known to attack people.

I almost named them that, but not only are these turkeys actually together, I have no evidence that they're umm... a "traditional" family arrangement, considering their childlessness as MMA points out. This is Massachusetts, after all. Ernie and Bert dee

^Surely humanitarian instincts would trump concern about these turkeys!

 

I did notice you didn't photograph the little presents these birds leave behind everywhere(Pro-Turkey bias much). We had the same issue but they got moved - there is only so much toleration after Very Important People got their shiny loafers soiled.

Clearly my urban turkeys are more cultured and refined than your wild turkeys were, because I have had no such issue
